Terms of Service

By accessing or using VerifyN ("the Platform", "we", "us", or "our"), you ("User", "you") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Platform. These Terms apply to all users of the Platform, including without limitation users who are browsers, developers, businesses, or contributors of content. We reserve the right to update and change these Terms at any time without notice. Continued use of the Platform after any such changes constitutes your consent to such changes. We recommend reviewing these Terms periodically.

VerifyN provides a cloud-based SMS verification service that allows users to: • Purchase single-use virtual phone numbers from 140+ countries • Receive one-time passwords (OTPs), verification codes, and other SMS messages on those numbers within a fixed activation window • Access a real-time SMS inbox via our web dashboard • Manage wallet balances, transactions, and number history IMPORTANT — How Numbers Work: All virtual numbers on VerifyN are temporary, single-use activations. When you purchase a number, you are renting it from our SMS provider for a fixed window (typically 20 minutes). During this window the number is reserved exclusively for you. Once the window closes — or once an SMS is received — the number is released back to the provider pool and can no longer receive messages. You do not own or permanently hold the number. You must use the number immediately after purchase. The activation timer starts the moment the number is provisioned and cannot be paused or extended. The Platform is provided "as is" and we reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the service at any time, with or without notice.

To use most features of the Platform, you must register for an account. You agree to: • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration • Maintain and promptly update your account information to keep it accurate • Maintain the security and confidentiality of your account credentials • Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account You may not share your account credentials with any third party. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with these security obligations. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform.

VerifyN operates on a prepaid wallet system. All services are paid for by topping up your account wallet using supported payment methods. Wallet top-ups are processed immediately and made available for use. All prices are listed in USD unless otherwise stated. Number Activations — No Refund After Purchase: Because each number is a real, live activation reserved exclusively for you from our provider the moment you confirm purchase, the cost is non-refundable once a number has been provisioned — regardless of whether an SMS is received. This is because our provider charges us immediately upon provisioning, even if the number expires unused. Please only buy a number when you are ready to use it immediately. The 20-minute activation window begins the moment the number is provisioned and cannot be paused, extended, or refunded. Wallet Balance Refunds: Unused wallet balance (funds not yet spent on number activations) may be refunded within 30 days of deposit, subject to a processing fee and identity verification. Contact support@verifyn.online to request a wallet refund. We reserve the right to adjust pricing at any time. Existing wallet balances will not be affected by price changes.

Understanding how number activations work is critical before using VerifyN. Please read this section carefully. How It Works: 1. You select a country and service (e.g. WhatsApp, Google), then confirm your purchase. 2. VerifyN instantly provisions a real virtual phone number from our SMS provider and reserves it exclusively for you. 3. You have a fixed activation window (typically 20 minutes) to use the number on the target service and receive your OTP. 4. If an SMS arrives within the window, the number is marked "SMS Received" and the activation ends. 5. If the window expires without an SMS, the number is released back to the provider pool and marked "Expired". Key Terms You Agree To: • Buy only when ready: The activation timer starts immediately upon purchase. Do not buy a number until you are on the page where you need to enter it. • Numbers are single-use: Each activation is for one SMS receipt. Once an SMS is received or the number expires, it cannot receive further messages. • Numbers are not yours permanently: You are renting from our provider for one activation window. You do not own or hold the number beyond that window. • Activations are non-refundable: Once a number has been provisioned the charge cannot be reversed (see Section 4). • Availability is not guaranteed: Number availability depends on our provider's inventory for a given country and service. We display live availability counts but cannot guarantee a number will be available at any given moment. • Provider errors: In the rare event that our provider returns an error and no number is provisioned, your wallet will not be charged.

You agree not to use the Platform for any unlawful or prohibited purpose, including but not limited to: • Fraud, identity theft, or impersonation of any person or entity • Creating fake accounts on third-party platforms or bypassing security verifications for illegal purposes • Spam, phishing, or sending unsolicited commercial communications • Distributing malware, viruses, or any other malicious code • Any activity that violates applicable local, national, or international law or regulation • Harassment, abuse, or harm to any individual or group • Money laundering or financing of terrorism • Bypassing sanctions or export controls Violation of these terms may result in immediate account termination, forfeiture of wallet balance, and reporting to relevant authorities.

All content, features, and functionality of the Platform — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, software, and source code — are owned by VerifyN and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Platform for its intended purposes. This license does not include the right to copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Platform. "VerifyN" and our logo are trademarks of the company. You may not use our trademarks without prior written consent.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, VerifyN and its directors, employees, agents, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses. Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We do not guarantee that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that messages will always be delivered. Delivery is subject to carrier availability and third-party factors outside our control.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting our support team or using the account deletion option in your settings. We may suspend or terminate your account immediately, without prior notice, if we determine that you have violated these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Any provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, and limitations of liability.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If a dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation within 30 days, the parties agree to submit to binding arbitration. Class action lawsuits and class-wide arbitration are not permitted. Nothing in this clause shall prevent either party from seeking emergency injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.
